Dr. Melanie Mouzoon is the Managing Physician of Immunization Practices and Travel Medicine at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in Houston.

An acknowledged expert in her field, Dr. Mouzoon also served as president of the The Immunization Partnership and was recognized with the “Impact Award” for her achievements and positive impact on Kelsey-Seybold Clinic.

She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and her expertise has been called on by local newspapers, radio and TV stations.

    Higher Insurance Premiums for Vaccine Refusers? NPR Discusses

     

    This was a very interesting show on NPR today!  

    It pondered the question of whether vaccine refusers should have to pay higher insurance premiums or if there are other responses that would be appropriate, since their refusal can end up costing insurers and the public health institutions money to treat and contain preventable infections such as measles.
